I try to establish an emotional connection with the viewer. I create my art with no preconceived ideas on what to paint, or what materials and techniques to use. I can start with a watercolor or acrylics sketch; a photograph; or with one of my collection of digital textures and color studios. I use a combination of techniques and materials fusing modern technology with traditional art materials. Color interactions and layers of texture create movement that I just follow, I take one step and the painting responds, until I know when it is done. I just know. ~Francisco Loyola
